Volatile Hazardous Air Pollutants (VHAP) are not believed to be entrained in methane/ VOC emissions. However, due to research conducted in conjunction with Smith Analytical, we now know that some of these abandoned wellheads contain harmful VHAPs that are regulated by the USEPA as well as various state agencies across the US.
Our Methane Mitigation System
Our Methane Mitigation System (MMS) can destroy CH4, VOC, and VHAP emissions from abandoned oil and gas wellheads at an average rate of 99%. Providing a viable solution to the costly plugging strategies deployed today. Our MMS system is a fraction of the cost with measurable results on every wellhead it is installed on.
